1950: The Beginning of a Legacy

In her humble backyard, our great grandmother ภักดี บุนนาค began handcrafting incense sticks, traditional Thai perfume, and mineral powder as heartfelt gifts for friends and her children’s teachers. What started as a simple act of generosity quickly blossomed into something extraordinary—the exquisite quality of her aromatic creations was unlike anything available, and word spread rapidly. As demand grew for her complete range of fragrant products, a cherished hobby transformed into the foundation of our family business.

1960s: From Backyard to Marketplace

The fragrant legacy moved to Bangkok’s vibrant Wang Saranrom Sunday Market, where Noppamas Incense found its first official home. Our grandmother, Mrs. Sureeporn Rohitopakarn, joined forces with our great grandmother, and together they produced incense, traditional Thai perfume, and mineral powder throughout the week, sharing their aromatic creations with weekend market-goers. Recognizing the growing demand and limitless potential, Mrs. Sureeporn officially established Noppamas Incense around 1960, laying the cornerstone for generations to come.

1991: Official Recognition

With high demand and potential market, Noppamas Incense was established in around 1960 by Mrs. Sureeporn Rohitopakarn and Mrs.Suttanee Poopunsri officially registered as a Limited Partnership in 1991 and remarkable expanding since then.

2000s: Embracing Modern Wellness

As the world began embracing wellness and aromatherapy, Noppamas evolved alongside these changing needs. We expanded beyond our traditional Buddhist ceremonial incense to create products specifically designed for modern wellness seekers, bringing the ancient art of aromatherapy to contemporary lifestyles.

2012: Certified Excellence

Our commitment to quality earned official recognition when Noppamas received the prestigious TISI (Thai Industrial Standards Institute) certification for our incense products. This certification from Thailand’s Ministry of Industry validates our adherence to strict standards for color, fragrance, functionality, moisture content, and the complete absence of toxic chemicals—ensuring every product meets the highest safety and quality benchmarks.
